Hello, my name is Sofía, I am a freelance/independent artist from Mexico.
I focus on painting and graphic mediums, particularly in the areas of illustration, character design, concept art and traditional/digital painting, but I like to learn about different approaches. I consider creative areas to be great places to express and explore ideas in different ways.
Although I am interested in various themes, my specialty is around people or anthropomorphic characters: whether as part of a story or a concept, or to imagine their gestures, appearance, emotions, thoughts and worlds. However, I am up for various visual communication goals and challenges.
Some of my inspiration sources come from animated films, music, fantasy, visual artists, and personal experiences. But anything can be a starting point.
